5 engineering offices win utilities mandates in Egypt new capital

Five major engineering offices have been tasked with executing the designs of fully-fledged infrastructure and utilities flagships in the first phase of Egypt’s new administrative capital project within 2018, an official source said Monday.

New Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development mandated these flagships to the five offices, the source in the county’s Al Ahly Real Estate Development further told Amwal Al Ghad.

“The infrastructure projects are to include a bunch of drinking water and sewage networks as well natural gas pipelines in addition to road works,” he added.

“The utilities projects will encompass giant residential works in favour of a number of real estate investment firms,” he stated, referring that all the works are set to be delivered within a timeframe ranging between 12 and 18 months.
