Egyptian Redcon Construction Company has handed over a building at the ministerial district in the country’s new administrative capital, said its chief executive Hossam Nassar on Saturday. “The company implemented the ministerial building within a timeframe of eight-month maximum,” Nassar further stated. The Egyptian official added that Redcon seeks to win a mandate in order to carry out a number of major projects in the new city, as part of the company’s scheme to double its business volume. “There are current negotiations to execute substantial works in the residential and ministerial districts in the new city within the upcoming period,” he noted. Moreover, Nassar referred that the company also targets returns ranging between 2.5 billion and 3 billion Egyptian pounds ($140.6-$168.7 million) at the end of 2018, compared with around 1.5 billion pounds at the end of 2017. Egypt’s Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouly has signed Tuesday a cooperation protocol with Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar to implement a new university in New El Alamein City, northwest of Cairo. Madbouly said that his ministry is responsible for providing the land plot and implementing the works, while Higher Education Ministry will manage and operate the project. “The university is to include faculties of medicine, pharmacy, and law as well as economics and political science in addition to science and technology,” Madbouly stated, adding that they will be operated within the academic year 2018-2019. Egypt's property developer Marseilia Group announces that it has injected investments worth around 300 million Egyptian pounds ($16.8 million) in its residential flagship Hayat Alex Park Compound. Yasser Ragab, Marseilia’s chairman, told Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday that the 300 million pounds are out of total 3 billion pounds, which represent the project’s investments. “The flagship will include the implementation of a commercial centre, on a space of 23,000 square metres,” Ragab further said. Egypt’s property developer Rooya Group unveils it plans to pump investments ranging between 2 billion and 3 billion Egyptian pounds ($112.4 million-$169 million) in its projects within 2018. Hisham Shoukri, Rooya’s chairman, said Tuesday that his company also seeks to start executing its project Stone Park compound in New Cairo early 2018, with total investments exceeding 7 billion pounds. “The commercial and administrative project will be established on a space of 600,000 square metres,” Shoukri further added. Egypt’s Ministry of Housing will implement 2,904 units, including 121 buildings in New Mansoura City as part of Dar Misr, a state middle-income housing flagship, said Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Wednesday. Egypt's property developer Egygab Holding Company announces that it plans to start delivering a number of units in its flagship Granda I in El Shorouk City within the first half of 2018. These units are with total investments estimated at around 600 million Egyptian pounds ($33.8 million), Mohamed Gaballah, Egygab’s chief executive, told Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday. “The company has completed 70 percent of the project,” Gaballah further stated, adding that the remaining 30 percent will include a landscape and finishing works. Egypt’s Ministry of Housing completed 115 factories in New Nubaria City, 160.9km north of Cairo, with total investments of 2 billion Egyptian pounds ($112.7 million), said Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Tuesday. These factories aim to provide 11,000 job opportunities, Madbouly stated, adding that his ministry is currently carrying out 66 service buildings in the city. Egypt’s state-run El Nasr Company for Building and Construction (EGYCO) unveils it is implementing number of infrastructure works within the second phase of Al-Robeky City for leather, 54km east of Cairo. Osama El Husseiny, managing director for financial and administrative affairs at EGYCO, said Monday that the infrastructure works are with value of 167 million Egyptian pounds ($9.4 million). EGYCO seeks to develop Al-Robeky to be a fully-fledged industrial zone by relocating Old Cairo’s tanneries there, El Husseiny further added. “The company has signed new contracts during the first quarter of financial year 2017/2018 to execute a sanitation plant worth 86 million pounds in various areas in El Qanater El Khayreya in Qalyubia Governorate,” he stated. Egypt’s property developer Tatweer Misr is planning to invest three billion Egyptian pounds ($169 million) in its projects within 2018, said managing director Ahmed Shalaby on Monday. Shalaby further added that Tatweer Misr has earlier pumped investments estimated at two billion pounds in 2017. “The company seeks to achieve contractual sales worth 4.3 billion pounds until the beginning of this month,” the Egyptian official noted.
