Egypt’s property developer Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMGH) reported Wednesday a 72.7 percent increase in its nine-month sales to reach 9.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($536.1 million). Earlier, sales stood at 5.5 billion pounds during the first nine months of 2016. The company further added that it has achieved sales worth 7.11 billion pounds during the five months ended in November 2017. During the third quarter, profits rose by 118 percent to 410.8 million pounds from 188 million pounds during the same period last year. More»

Egypt-based property developer Porto Group announces that it has launched its new phase Villagio in Golf Porto Marina project at the heart of North Coast and new Alamein City, northwest of Cairo. Villagio will include number of town house villas, Sherif Khalil, Porto Group’s chief commerce officer, said Tuesday, adding that Golf Porto Marina is established over 1.5 million square meters. Egypt's state-run Heliopolis Company for Housing and Development announced Tuesday it plans to carry out a new project in Heliopark City in New Cairo, spanning over 1,700 feddans. The company further added that it has achieved profits worth 348.8 million Egyptian pounds ($19.6 million) during the financial year 2016/2017 from 400.6 million pounds during the financial year 2015/2016. Egyptian Company for Integrated Contracting (ECIC) unveils it has been assigned with carrying out two new road flagships worth more than 380 million Egyptian pounds ($21.4 million) in Obour City. Mohamed Abdel Raouf Hussein, ECIC’s vice-chairman, said Tuesday that his company plans to expand its business in number of additional infrastructure and road projects in the new cities. “The company is currently implementing various road flagships in Cairo and other governorates,” Hussein further stated. Egypt’s Concept Real Estate Group announces it plans to start delivering its flagship Siela in North Coast in 2019, with investments totalling 500 million Egyptian pounds ($28.2 million). The construction works of the project, which is established over ten feddans, will be completely executed at the end of 2018. Ehab Abou El Magd, Concept’s chairman, said Monday that Siela is to include a fully-fledged service area, aqua park, and waterfalls in addition to some chalets, on various spaces ranging between 50 square metres and 120 square metres. “We have marketed 80 percent in the first and second phases,” Abou El Magd further stated, adding that the third and final phases are still launched. Egypt’s property developer firm, Orientals for Urban Development (OUD) is planning to carry out a new residential and touristic project in North Coast, said its chairman Asser Hamdy on Monday. The new flagship will be established over 50 feddans, in partnership with one of the investors who owns the land plot, Hamdy further told Amwal Al Ghad. “The company is responsible for developing and marketing the project,” the Egyptian official noted. Besides OUD’s works in North Coast, Hamdy added that his company also seeks to team up with New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to execute an additional fully-fledged urban flagship, spanning over 100 feddans. One of the Egyptian state-owned firms has been assigned with executing a number of utilities and road flagships in New Alamein City, northwest of Cairo, within November 2017. These projects are with value approaching one billion Egyptian pounds ($56.4 million). A source with knowledge told Amwal al Ghad on Monday that nine private construction firms, which are working in New Alamein City, were also mandated to carry out some major projects within the first phase of New Alamein City. Egypt’s construction company Al-Abd announces that it prepares to deliver the third phase of Asmarat housing flagship dedicated for risky slums dwellers in Mokattam district within December 2017. The third phase is with total cost worth more than 550 million Egyptian pounds ($31 million), said Said Fattouh, Al-Abd’s managing director, on Monday. Al-Abd is executing a number of fully-fledged utilities works as well as residential and service buildings in the third phase, Fattouh stated, adding that his company captures the lion’s share among the other firms working in Asmarat project. “The company has handed over housing units and utilities projects within the first and second phases of Asmarat, at costs exceeding 700 million pounds,” the Egyptian official further noted.
