Canada’s investments in Egypt hit $10 bln: official

The Canadian investments in Egypt exceed $10 billion according to Fayez Ezz head of Canadian Chamber Of Commerce in Egypt.

The Canadian investors have participated in major projects in Egypt such as the underground and providing electricity from solar energy. the Canadian companies has started investing in Egypt during tle last three years especially after Egypt Economic Development Conference.

Ezz has made these remarks during  Egypt Economic Forum “Smart Vision” held in Cairo.  Some 800 businessmen and investors from nine countries will participate in Smart Vision’s tenth annual economic forum.

The forum l discuss investment in Egypt, national mega projects, Egypt Vision 2030, new capital market law, government-planned IPOs, digital economy and financial inclusion.
