CIB’s personal funding increases to 19 bln pounds in 2017

Egypt’s biggest private bank, Commercial International Bank (CIB),  has achieved an increase in its personal funding portfolio to 19 billion ($10.7 billion) Egyptian pounds by the end of 2017 compared to 15.3 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 2016.

The increase in personal funding resulted from the surge in the personal loans portfolio registering 13.9 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 2017 compared 10.7 billion pounds by the end of 2016.

The credit cards have registered 2.8 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of 2017 comparing to 2.4 billion pounds billion pounds, while the current accounts have recorded 1.7 billion pounds according to the bank financial statement.

on the other hand, the real estate loans portfolio has posted 416.6 million pounds by the end of 2017 versus 306 million pounds by the end of 2016.
