Dollar exchange rate sees slight hike in Egyptian banks

U.S. dollar prices against the Egyptian pound increased in several Egyptian banks on Sunday.

According to the latest price updates, the exchange rate of the US dollar in the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), The Arab African International Bank, and Suez Canal Bank recorded 17.59 Egyptian pounds for purchase and 17.69 pounds for sale, up from 17.58 pounds for purchase and 17.68 pounds for sale.

National Bank of Greece, Bank of Alexandria, Banque Misr, and Banque du Caire set the greenback at 17.68 pounds for sale, and buying at 17.58 pounds.

The Commercial International Bank (CIB) set dollar prices at 17.67 pounds for selling, and 17.57 pounds for buying, with one piastre increase from Saturday prices of 17.56 pounds for purchase and 17.66 pounds for sale.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), The United Bank of Egypt, and al-Baraka Bank had dollar prices at 17.70 pounds for selling, and 17.60 pounds for buying.

Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) is selling the dollar at 17.71 pounds, while buying it at 17.61 pounds.
