EGX earns L.E5 bn in Sunday’s Morning Trading

The EGX has managed to earn L.E5 billion during Sunday’s morning trading. Therefore, the market capital of the listed stocks has reached L.E379.448 billion. EGX30 has witnessed a rise of 2.35% to reach 5262.77p.  EGX20 has also witnessed a rise of 2.82% to reach 6207.73p. EGX70 has had an increase of 1.33% to reach 508.26p; the EGX100 has also witnessed a gain of 1.53% to reach 854.22p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E32.365 million through a volume of trading amounted to 8.686 million shares for 1.776 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 99 listed securities; 89of them rose and 5 downed while 5 others remained with no change.

The foreign and the Arab investors were responsible for the purchasing activity which has recorded the difference between their purchases and their sales amounts of L.E1.323 million and L.E857 thousand respectively.

Elsewhere, Egyptian investors inclined towards selling activities as they have made up 71.14% of the total market and recorded the difference between their sales and their purchase as L.E2.181 million.
