EGX Indices Close In Green

On Thursday’s closing session, the EGX posted gains of EGP 3.9 billion as the capital market amounted to EGP 345.556 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 jumped 1.79% to close at 4735.15 p. EGX20 soars 2.21% to close at 5460.7 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 rose 0.86% to close at 434.34 p. Price index EGX100 climbed 0.94% to close at 761.85 p.

Traded volume reached million 121.614 securities, at a value of EGP 424.857 million, exchanged through 20.862 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 173 listed securities; 46 down and 104 up while 23 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 63.14% and 6.49% respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 77.295 million and EGP 17.900 million, excluding the deals.

On the other hand, the non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers seizing 30.37%, with a net equity of EGP 95.195 million, excluding the deals.
