EGX’s Indices Mixed On Foreign Selling Pressures

On Sunday’s session, the EGX incurred losses of L.E 1.12billion as the capital market amounted to L.E 350.392 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 went down 0.68% to reach 4793.99 p. EGX20 fell 0.69% to reach 5496.6 p.

On the other hand, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 soared 0.70% to reach 440.8 p. Price index EGX100 rose 0.24% to reach 773.09 p.

Traded volume reached million 39.288 securities, at a value of L.E 92.513 million, exchanged through 6.958 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 138 listed securities; 49 down and 61 up while 28 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers seizing 82.52% and 10.44% repectively of the total market, with a net equity of L.E 4.907 million and of L.E 1.992 million.

Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers seizing 7.04% of the total market, with a net equity of L.E 6.899 million.
