Egypt delivers units in Dar Misr middle-income housing project

Egypt has started Sunday delivering some housing units in Korenfel and Andalus areas in New Cairo, as part of the first phase of the county’s state middle-income residential flagship Dar Misr.

Egypt’s population currently sits at about 92 million. Demand for housing stands to be exacerbated by Egypt’s demographic structure.

“The real estate sector, and in particular the residential sector, one of the most promising in Egypt, is being driven by strong demand from a young and continuously growing population looking to purchase their own homes,” Tom Rhodes, Exhibition Director for Cityscape Egypt, said earlier in March.
