Egypt establishes a new road network in North Aswan worth $73mn

Egypt is set to build a new road network connecting east and west Nile in Upper Egypt with total investment worth 650 million Egyptian pounds ($73mn) according to the minister of transport Galal El-Said.

He added that the new ring road dubbed as Kalabsha will be established in North Aswan and will facilitate the developing of new urban, industrial and agriculture communities. The new project includes an over-Nile bridge with eight bridges and six 23km-tunnels.

El-Said said that the progress rate of the project has registered 55 percent of total volume of work.
