Egypt’s cable maker El Sewedy Electric 2017 profits rise to 6.4 bln pounds

Egypt’s El Sewedy Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) unveiled Wednesday that its profits jumped to 6.4 billion Egyptian pounds ($363.1 million) in 2017 from 3.9 billion pounds in 2016.

During the three months ended in September 2017, profits rose to 1.56 billion pounds, compared with 746.6 million pounds during the same period in 2016.
