Egypt’s GDP jumps 4.2% in FY2016/17: minister

Egypt’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.2 percent during the financial year 2016/2017, the county’s Planning Minister Hala al-Saeed said Wednesday.

In addition, GDP climbed by five percent during the fourth quarter of financial year 2016/2017, compared with four percent in the same of financial year 2015/2016. Source: Reuters
