Egypt’s military production ministry plans establishing containers factory

Egyptian  Military Production ministry is playing key role in the national projects and is currently studying establishing containers factory, Minister Mohamed El-Assar stated Tuesday.

The ministry is also taking part in a number of large projects notably the 1.5 Million Feddans Reclamation project and Toshka’s solar-powered water well due to the potential it owns on supplying equipments. In addition, the ministry is cooperating with housing ministry in establishing water and sewage stations.

He made these remarks during the second edition of the Annual Builders of Egypt Forum took place on 1-2 March 2016 in The Nile Ritz-Carlton.

It was held under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and set to discuss the world’s latest technologies in the construction industry and how to benefit from them locally.

El-Assar clarified that the ministry has decides to take steps in those national projects through providing the available materials and equipments.

Military Production ministry owns 16 companies that exclusively  have machines and equipments with the technological and manufacturing potentials to manufacture heavy weapons that could be used within the upcoming period.
