Mony Helal crowned Miss Egypt 2018, heading for 68th Miss World Pageant in China

Mony Helal was crowned Miss Egypt 2018 and qualified to the 68th Edition of Miss World Pageant scheduled to be held in China this December.
“Being crowned as Miss Egypt 2018 and representing Egypt in Miss World is such a proud moment for me. I am so excited to take on such a big responsibility,” says Helal, the beautiful 26-year-old Egyptian.
“I am looking forward to changing the stereotype of beauty pageant queens; I believe that true beauty comes from within,” she added.
Helal is using her title to draw attention a number of charitable associations such as Misr Al-Kheir, Gannat Al-Kholoud and Baseera for Visually Impaired.
She is actively supporting and bringing awareness to the first animal protection draft law in Egypt that will be soon discussed by the parliament.
She resigned from her role as a PR manager in order to focus on her modeling career and the humanitarian and philanthropic activities she will undertake as Miss Egypt.
The highly anticipated Miss World 2018 pageant is scheduled to take place in Sanya Island, China this December with the participation of 120 runners from across the globe.
