Orange Egypt names former telecom minister Atef Helmy new president

The Egyptian arm of French telecoms giant Orange has named former minister of communications Atef Helmy as the new president for three-year term.

In a statement released Tuesday, the company added that the new board of directors includes former minister of investment Osama Saleh, as well as Magued Osman, a former minister of communications, currently the director of the Egyptian Centre for Public Opinion Research “Baseera”.
