Pakistan Navy to Build Nuclear Submarine

Islamabad, February 11 (QNA) – Pakistan has decided to build nuclear submarine for Pakistan Navy to better meet its defense requirements, Pakistan Navy sources said. The nuclear submarine would be built in the country. It would take between 5 to 8 years to build the nuclear submarine after which Pakistan would join the list of countries that own a nuclear submarine.

Pakistan currently has a fleet of five regular submarines. (QNA
