Petroleum Sector delivers Natural Gas to New Ismailia City

Egyptian petroleum sector has completed the delivery of natural gas to the New Ismailia City in line with the inauguration of the New Suez Canal, according to a report issued by Sinai gas Company Saturday.

The new city is in Ismailia governorate, situated on the west bank of the Suez Canal.

Sinai Gas Company, which implemented the project- is working in the field of supplying natural gas for domestic, commercial and industrial loads in north and south Sinai governorates.

According to the report, the delivery of natural gas to the new city comes as part of Egyptian government’s plan – that is executed by the Armed Forces’ Engineering Authority – to establish a number of new cities to serve the national project of developing Suez Canal axis as well as providing job opportunities through the economic projects set to be executed after opening the axis.
