Safaga Port receives Ship carries 1500 Ton Equipment

Safaga port received on Monday Polish cargo ship (Vera), which is coming from Netherlands, carrying 1500 ton of heavy equipment. This equipment is to be used in digging the gold mine in Al Sokkary, in Marsa Alam.

In his statements today, Maj. Gen. Atef Amam- the head of Safaga port- said the equipment includes machines and tools for generating electricity and for digging. He mentioned that loading and unloading, in the port, works regularly, such as importing agricultural crops, Egyptian goods and phosphate to Gulf countries. It receives raw aluminum for aluminum industries community in Naga’a Hamedy.
