State-run Alexandria for Pharmaceuticals Q1 profits up to 37.3mn pounds

First-quarter profits of Egypt’s state-owned Alexandria Company for Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries increased to 37.3 million Egyptian pounds ($2.1 million), the company said in a bourse filling on Sunday.

Earlier, profits stood at 21‍​ million pounds during the first quarter of 2016.

The company made revenues worth 172.9 million up from 126‍​ million pounds last year.
