Telecom Egypt says internet connection lag in Upper Egypt to be fixed in hours

Telecom Egypt (TE), the state-owned landline monopoly, reported Thursday a double cut in two internet linking cables of (Al Rawda-Beni Suef) and (October-Fayoum). This caused an internet lag and also affected mobile calls quality in a number of Upper Egypt cities.

The company immediately formed a specialised work team to fix the problem and make sure internet services is back as soon as possible. In addition a technical work team will also be formed to determine the main causes behind this incident.
