Nassef Sawiris (born in 1961), the youngest of the three sons of Onsi Sawiris, has been a Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Orascom Construction Industries - OCI (OCIC.CA) since its incorporation in 1998 and assumed Chairmanship in 2010. Mr. Sawiris oversaw the construction activities of Orascom since 1990.He is also one of the largest shareholders in and a director on the Board of Lafarge S.A., the world's leading building materials conglomerate. He is also a director of the Dubai International Financial Exchange (Nasdaq DIFC) and of NNS Holding, a privately-owned investment group. Egyptian former Prime Minister Essam Sharaf named September 2011 Mohamed Abdel Gawad Omran as EGX new chairman, succeeding Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam. The Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange served as a Vice Chairman for Operation of the Insurance Holding Company for one year and a Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange for four years from 2006-2010. He severed several years as an Economist at both the Arab Monetary Fund in Abu Dhabi and the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C. Mr. Mohamed Nasr Abdeen is a prominent Egyptian banker with 45-year experience in commercial and Islamic banking who immigrated to United Arab Emirates three decades ago. He is the CEO of UAE-based Union National Bank which is the only bank in UAE that is jointly owned by the Governments of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Dr. Ziad Bahaa Eldin (born 30th August, 1964), the son of Egypt’s prominent writer and intellectual Ahmad Bahaa El Din, is an Egyptian lawyer, Member of Parliament (Assiut) for the Egyptian Social Democratic Party and also a board member of the Ahmed Bahaa-Eldin Cultural Foundation, which promotes education, training and creative thinking among Egyptian youth.  He is also a member of the American University in Cairo (AUC)’s Board of Trustees and the director of the Egyptian Initiative for the Prevention of Corruption. Najla Ali Mahmoud (born in 1962), is married to Egypt’s president- elected Mohamed Morsi, and became the First Lady of Egypt. She was born in 1962 in Ain Shams, a suburb of Cairo, Egypt. She worked at the Islamic Center in California. She was a member of an actors organization of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Najla went to high school in Egypt, and then moved to study in Los Angeles, USA. She worked in the house of Muslim student as an interpreter and translator for American Muslims.  Najla first met with her engineering student cousin Mohamed Morsi when he was visiting the states, where they tied the knot in 1979. Najla and Morsi have four boys and a girl. In her first interview with the media, Najla rejected "the first lady" title and believes that the president's wife should not interfere in politics like her predecessors Suzanne Mubarak and Jihan Sadat. Najla joined the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States, where she concentrated her role in charity work, especially in the education field.
