TUMAID expects Turkish investments in Egypt to reach $130 mln in Q1 2018

The first quarter of 2018 will witness an increase in the Turkish investments into the Egyptian market of $110-130 million Atilla Ataseven, the chairperson of The Turkish & Egyptian Businessmen Association (TUMIAD) .

He added that these investments have resulted from the Egyptian-Turkish business forum which was held in Konya and Istanbul between the 26th of  November and  the 1st of  December, entitled “Let’s Create Together” with the participation of 92 Egyptian and Turkish businessmen.

The business forum has succeeded in encouraging the investors in both countries, deepening cooperation and establishing various investment  partnerships. It has attracted Turkish investments of 900 million Egyptian pounds ($51 million).

TUMAID would host a Turkish delegation of furniture and wood manufacturers in order to hold meetings with their counterparts to discuss the possibility of increasing trade exchange and economic cooperation between Egypt and Turkey.
