Turkey’s Pasabahce seeks to up investments to $80 mln

Turkish tableware manufacturer Pasabahce is seeking to increase its investments to $80 million to develop its products during the upcoming period, according to Amr Nassar , Minister of industry and Trade.

The company is working in glassware design, production, and sales. It owns a plant in 6th October City with investments worth $20 million.

The company intends to establish a new glass furnace with investments worth $60 million.

The company also aims at exporting  its products to markets including the USA, Latin America, Arab, African and Eastern European markets, benefiting from the free trade agreements signed between Egypt and those countries.

In the glass industry, Paşabahçe Cam is the third biggest company in the world and second in Europe with its extensive and strong distribution network, wide array of products, exemplary production capabilities, and customer-oriented strategic approach.

Paşabahçe has 6,000 employees, and 65 percent of its sales comes from exports to 140 countries.

Offering glass, ceramics, porcelain, wood and steel tableware and kitchenware as well as house decoration items to its customers under the ‘Life’ and ‘Boutique’ concepts, Paşabahçe Mağazaları AŞ operates in Turkey and international markets with a total of 52 stores. ​
