Two new hotels worth $306mn opened in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh

Egyptian investment minister Ashraf Salman inaugurated Friday two hotels in Sharm El Sheikh with total cost estimated at around 2.4 billion Egyptian pounds (U$306.5 million).

Salman opened the two hotels -which are affiliates of one of the international hotels and resort chains in Sharm El Sheikh- on behalf of  Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.

The two hotels were established on the space of 250,000 square meters and the capacity of 800 rooms beside entertainment and service areas. Additionally, the project includes 100,00 square meters to build a city for water games.

Salman stated that adding new hotel capacities in Sharm el Sheikh and other touristic areas attracts more tourists to Egypt and provides more alternatives in addition to providing more job opportunities that accommodate large number of direct and indirect labour.
