Unilever Mashreq eyes $25.5mn supply contracts with Egypt’s FIHC in 2016

Unilever Mashreq eyes boosting the volume of supply contracts with Egyptian Food Industries Holding Company (FIHC) to around 200 million Egyptian pounds (US$25.5million) at the end of 2016.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Monday, Mohamed Abou El-Yazid -sales manager- stated that the total volume of Unilever’s supply contracts with FIHC reached 130 million pounds during 2015.

Unilever Mashreq is participating in Egypt’s supply commodities system with five products and targets adding new ones as it owns around 130 different products, Abou El-Yazid said.

The manager clarified that company’s participation in supply commodities system has contributed with 10 percent to its total sales volume in 2015 besides enhancing its presence in the local market.
