1700 Asian Companies Invest In Egypt: Osama Saleh Says

Egypt’s Minister of Investments, Osama Saleh, has asserted that the total Asian investments in Egypt are relatively few, compared to the other countries on the investment level, whereas there are 1700 companies, with the contribution of 7 countries; like Japan, China, Pakistan, Singapore and India, besides 422 companies with Turkish contributions, at total investments exceed $ 1 billion.

Saleh added that Egypt, through the Egyptian-Asian Forum, is aim at doubling the volume of these investments with some countries; under the projects that are targeted to be offered in the upcoming period by the Egyptian government, on the level of infrastructure ventures, green industries and energy ventures, which are a matter of consideration for a lot of the Asian countries.
