2 Ministries Mull Launch of EGP5 bln Tech-Zone in Borg al-Arab

Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Telecom Minister revealed that the Ministry will meet officials in the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), aiming to allocate 120 feddans so as to launch a technological zone in Borg al-Arab in Alexandria.

He explained that the project will be offered through the PPP system, the government will bear 15% of the cost, expecting that the total investment would be up to EGP 5 billion.

Minister Helmy said his ministry will review the project to the Cabinet after reaching an agreement with the Housing Ministry.
