The number of Egyptian construction firms operating in African countries is totalling 22 in addition to the state-run, Arab Contractors, which owns 19 branches abroad, an official said on Sunday.
Hassan Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC), said that the federation is coordinating with the Fedaration of Arab Contractors to double the number of Egyptian companies working in Africa during the upcoming phase which pave the road for the local companies to compete for large developmental projects.
