30 Palestinian children along with three women were released during the night from the Israeli prison system, Al Arabiya reported.
Israel’s prison authority said that 33 Palestinian hostages were released “during the night” in the truce deal between Israel and Hamas.
The Palestinian hostages arrived in the West Bank town of Ramallah to be greeted by loud cheers from their families and friends.
This brings the number of Palestinians released during the four-day period to 150.
Israel agreed to include 50 female Palestinian hostages in the list of detainees slated for release if additional Israeli hostages are freed from Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said on Tuesday.
This came after Qatar announced that the truce in Gaza will be extended for two more days.
Hamas released 11 Israelis from Gaza, handed over to the Red Cross and taken to Israel.
