Nearly 40 global investment funds with total assets of more than US$250 billion will take part in the three-day conference to be organized by Beltone Financial Holding Tuesday, January 28, under the title “Egypt on Right Track”.
Beltone’s Chairman Alaa Sabaa said in a statement to state-owned agency MENA the event will be attended by five ministers, namely, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Cooperation Ziad Baha el-Din, Investment Minister Osama Saleh, Finance Minister Ahmed Galal, Housing Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, and Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour.
Additionally, the head of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) Sherif Samy and Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Mohamed Oman will participate in the conference.
During the first day of the event, representatives of these global funds will hold meetings with the Egyptian ministers to review the country’s economic and political conditions in light of starting the implementation of the roadmap, Sabaa said.
He expected the event to create a positive outlook for Egypt’s future both in the political and economic arenas.
