The National Center for Planning State Land Uses (NCPSLU), an affiliate of the Egyptian Cabinet, is assessing the allocation of 43 land plots across 16 governorates for the development of new industrial parks and mechanical workshops. Notably, 12 of these proposed sites are located in remote desert villages.
NCPSLU Head Nasser Fawzi emphasized the importance of close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to maximise investment opportunities and drive industrial growth. During a recent meeting, Fawzi presented potential sites, highlighting their strategic value in fostering industrial development and attracting investment. The centre is committed to ensuring that selected locations meet stringent standards for infrastructure and essential services.
This ambitious project aligns with the government’s broader strategy to stimulate industrial growth, create jobs, and promote sustainable development nationwide. By expanding industrial zones, Egypt aims to attract substantial investments and diversify its economy.
