Egypt’s Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced today that 47 ships passed through the canal at weight of 2.943 million tons.
The daily statement issues by SCA said that the number of ships coming from the north direction is 21 ones and at weight of 1.241 million tons, while the number of ships coming from the south direction is 26 ones and at weight of 1.701 million tons.
The statement added that the biggest ship coming from the north direction is COSCO BELGIUM, affiliated to Hong Kong, was coming from Belgium at weight of 159.000 tons and heading to Hong Kong. Whilst, the biggest ship coming from the south is MSC ROSA M, affiliated to Panama, was coming from Singapore at weight of 158.000 tons and heading to Italy.
