6th of October, Sheikh Zayed Plants Incur EGP50mn Losses Amid Blackout

Head of industrial investors syndicate Mohamed Geinedy said Sixth of October’s and El-Sheikh Zayed factories incurred losses worth EGP50 million due to power outage which hit Cairo last Thursday.

Sixth of October’s factories have halted entirely as result of the  power crisis , demanding from government to carry the responsibility of losses.

In statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Geinedy has called government to move quickly in order to not repeat this crisis again. He noted that Businessmen are ready to participate in power energy projects so as to provide facilities for these projects.
