7385 new companies have been established in Egypt all over the last ten months since the beginning of 2014, said head of the country’s investment authority GAFI.
Hassan Fahmy – Chairman of Egyptian General Authority for Investment (GAFI) – the newly-established firms were with investments totalling 11.3 billion Egyptian pounds (US$1.6 billion).
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad on Tuesday, Fahmy said the new firms create around 65.125 thousand job opportunities in the local market.
