A Peaceful Protest Against IMF Loan

Scores of demonstrators, from Revolutionary Socialists party, Socialist Popular Alliance Party, Mina Danial Party and Communist party, organized a protest outside Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC); refusing the loan of the International Monetary Fund  (IMF).

A protestor told “Amwal Al Ghad” that the loan’s conditions are unfair and will lead to foreign interference in the Egyptian political concern.

He referred to other alternatives to provide the demanded liquidity, such as restoring the smuggling funds, raising taxes on businessmen or decreasing the wages maximum limit.

The demonstrators held signs that call for eradicating capitalism and rebuffing the conditions of the IMF loan.
