Abou Hashima El-Kheir Foundation, Beltone partner to boost Egyptian SMEs
The Abou Hashima El-Kheir Foundation and Beltone SMEs signed on Tuesday a co-operation protocol to jointly provide financial support to Egypt’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The partnership aims to contribute significantly to the growth of the SME sector in the country.
Basel Rahmi, head of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (MSMEDA), commended the government’s dedication to fostering a thriving SME ecosystem under the leadership of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly. Rahmi also emphasised MSMEDA’s role in creating a favourable investment environment for entrepreneurs.
This collaboration aligns with the Startup Power competition, which focuses on green technology and artificial intelligence projects. With over 12,000 entrepreneurs participating, the competition underscores the government’s commitment to innovation. MSMEDA will continue to work closely with the Abou Hashima El-Kheir Foundation and Beltone to support and develop Egypt’s SME sector.
