ADNOC Gas awards $1.34bln contracts for new natural gas pipeline

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced on Monday the award of $1.34 billion in contracts to enhance its network to over 3,500 kilometres, further driving the company’s growth, market share, and access to new customers.

The company has awarded multiple contracts to the UK’s Petrofac and a consortium comprising domestic players National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) and CAT for the further expansion of its natural gas pipeline network.

Abu Dhabi is spending billions of dollars to scale up its gas production capacity with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency while also emerging as a key liquefied natural gas exporter in the long term.
