AFD to sign €153.2mn with Egypt’s NBE, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire at COP27
The French Development Agency (AFD) is earmarking a financing package worth up to €153.2 million ($149.2 million) for the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, and Banque du Caire, an official source said on Thursday.
The agreements will be signed at COP27, the UN climate change summit taking place in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh on 6-18 November, the source further told Amwal Al Ghad.
The money will go for projects helping to achieve the sustainable development goals in line with Egypt’s 2030 Vision, he added.
