AfDB vice president to lead high-profile delegation to Egypt next October

An African Development Bank (AfDB) high-level delegation will arrive in Egypt next October 2-8, headed by the bank’s vice president for regional development, integration, and business delivery Khaled Sherif.

Mohamed El Azizi, AfDB’s Director General for the North Africa Regional Development and Business Delivery Office, will take part in the delegation to Egypt.

This is the first visit for Sherif, who will hold talks with a number of Egyptian ministers.

The AfDB is committed to disburse the third and final installment of a three-year $1.5 billion loan before the end of the current year, Leila Mokaddem, Resident Representative for Egypt at the AfDB, said in a statement on Wednesday.
