The Afghan caretaker government’s approved 317 development projects over the past three years, totalling 85 billion Afghani (about $1.2 billion), as reported by the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs.
These projects have contributed to the nation’s development and created job opportunities for many. The commission prioritised domestic projects, saving three billion Afghani in approved project contracts.
The government aims to initiate additional development and infrastructure projects using its domestic budget in the war-torn country to address economic challenges and generate employment opportunities.
