Afreximbank signs $141 million deal with Zimbabwe’s Exodus & Company at IATF 2023
The African Export–Import Bank (Afreximbank) has signed on Saturday a term sheet for a $141 million seven-year intra-Africa investment finance facility with one of the key construction companies in Zimbabwe, Exodus & Company.
The facility will for supporting Exodus and Company in its strategy to become a continental actor in the Engineering and Procurement Contractor sector in Africa, by enhancing its capacity to execute larger projects.
Formed in 2007, Exodus and Company have grown to become a market leader in Zimbabwe in modern infrastructure that includes major and minor road construction, rehabilitation, resealing; bridge construction; water and sewer reticulation.
Denys Denya, executive vice president for Finance, Administration and Banking Services at Afreximbank, has signed the agreement with Progress Mambo, CEO of Exodus and Company at the third edition of Africa’s largest trade and investment fair, IATF 2023 taking place in Cairo, Egypt on November 9-15.
