Africa coronavirus cases surpass 30,000
There are more than 30,000 coronavirus cases reported in the continent of Africa as of Sunday, according to Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
More than 9,000 have recovered as of Sunday, Africa CDC’s report read.
The small landlocked kingdom of Lesotho as well as Comoros, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, are the only two African countries that have not reported any coronavirus cases as of Sunday.
Egypt is the second Africa’s most coronavirus cases
South Africa has the continent’s most coronavirus cases with 4,361 reported infections, the report added, followed by three North African countries, Egypt, Morocco, and Algeria.
