Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait–Egypt 2020 net profit grows 27% y-o-y

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait–Egypt (ABK-Egypt) reported on Sunday a 27 percent year-on-year growth in net profit during 2020.

The bank made a net profit worth 666 million Egyptian pounds ($42.6 million) in 2020.

Operating profit for the year also rose 34 percent year-on-year to 1.37 billion pounds. Total assets surged 16 percent year-on-year to 41.23 billion pounds at the end of 2020.

Customers’ deposits went up 19 percent year-on-year to 33.55 billion pounds.
