Egypt’s Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, headed by Ahmed Al Wakeel, will receive tomorrow the US Ambassador to Cairo, Anne Patterson, and the escorted high-ranking delegation to discuss the ways of supporting the commercial and agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, Ahmed Al Wakeel, Chairman of Federation of Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, said the US delegation’s visit aims at discussing the ways of providing the guarantees necessary for the commercial and agricultural deals between Egypt and the USA.
The delegation will examine the possibility of funding the feasibility studies of the investment ventures, explaining the program’s details and the data of the facilities that are being provided to the Egyptian private sector.
The meeting will be attended by Alexandria Governor and a number of the chamber’s members.
The US delegation encompasses the USAID, US Investment Institute, the U.S. Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im Bank), and the Export Credit Guarantee Programs, which is an affiliate of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
