Alex Bank, subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, intends implementing 60 more ATMs to reach 320 ATMs, up from 260 ones in 2011.
Basel Rahmy, general manager of retail banking department, told Amwal Al Ghad that the Bank targets developing 20 branches this year, out of its 200 branches across Egypt. Rahmy noted that the Bank developed 22 branches in 2011 in South Egypt, Delta and Alexandria, as part of the Bank’s efforts in restructuring and developing its branches. In addition, Alex Bank closed 9 branches and opened other branches in more vital regions.
Rahmy added that Alex Bank intends increasing the branches that offer service s for top customers to 40 branches in 2012, up from 10 branches in 2011.
