The Egyptian exports to the Algerian market recorded EGP 1.73 billion at the end of Q3, 2012, rose 5%, compared to EGP 1.65 billion in 2011.
The main Egyptian exports to the Algerian market are the engineering and electronic products, recording EGP 710 million; while the building materials reached EGP 339 million.
The Egyptian government seeks to expand the economic cooperation with the Algerian side via the visit of PM Hesham Kandil and the delegation of the government’s officials, besides the Algerian businessmen. The visit will take up the cooperation between the two countries and the intra-investments in the coming period.
