Allianz Egypt’s premiums rise 20% y-o-y in FY2018/19
Allianz Egypt, part of German insurer giant Allianz, posted a 20 percent year-on-year increase in premiums during the 2018/2019 financial year, its vice chairman said on Wednesday.
Premiums registered 884 million Egyptian pounds ($54.7 million), up from 734 million pounds during the 2017/2018 financial year, Mohamed Mehran added.
“We have signed a deal with Banque Misr and Credit Agricole Egypt to promote our insurance products through the two lenders’ branches,” Mehran said.
