AmCham Egypt to launch advisory council in Washington – chief
The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) plans to establish an advisory council in the United States, said its executive director Hisham Fahmy said on Sunday.
The proposed council, which will include several figures with extensive experience in the U.S. decision-making circles, will maximise AmCham’s role in supporting the investment size and trade exchange between Egypt and the United States, Fahmy added.
The council and its members will be announced during the AmCham’s door-knock mission to Washington whose events started on Monday 1 April.
Fahmy explained that all the nominated members in the council are participating voluntarily, as 11 members are expected to be part of the council with experience in various fields.
