The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Tarek Amer, has presided a meeting of the Association of African Central Banks (AACB) on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
The meetings is held in Bali Indonesia, in the presence of Christine Lagarde, managing director of the IMF.
The Central bank of Egypt has hosted the 41st meeting of the Association of African Central Banks (AACB) in Sharm El Sheikh last August.
The meeting in August was attended by a number of regional and international institutions, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the African Union Commission, the European Central Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA).
on the other hand, The 2018 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, civil society, media and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, global financial stability, poverty eradication, jobs and growth, economic development, aid effectiveness and climate change.
